
At the monthly W.S.O. breakfast, women have the opportunity to join in a time of
worship, fellowship, and Bible study. The W.S.O. breakfast is held at FWC on the second Saturday of every month.

W.S.O. 13th Annual Women's Retreat, October 7-9, Horn Creek Conference Center,
Cost: $160.00. You are welcome to come for a time of refreshing spiritually and
mentally through fun and friendships. Rhonda Brown, Women’s Ministries President
of Church of God, a therapist at Excelcior Residential Treatment Facility, speaker,
and worship leader, will be the guest speaker at the retreat.
Women Serving Other is a ministry open to all women to serve God, our family, and
others by becoming life-long followers of Jesus Christ.?The purpose of Women
Serving Others is to help all women become life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
Every second Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m., all women are invited to a
complimentary breakfast with a time of worship, song, and friendship at Family
Worship Center. There are different speakers each month who cover a broad variety
of topics. All women, young adult women, and student girls are invited to come.
Childcare is provided.

Beisel, facilitator.?Wednesday, 7 p.m. Women’s Life Group Bible Study. This Life
Application Bible study continues year around studying specific books of the Bible.
There is a time of song, worship, and interactive Bible study. The entry points for a
new study are September, January, April, and June but you are welcome anytime of
the year. Charissa Smith, facilitator. ?If you are mature in your Christian faith and
have attended F.W.C. for 6 months, you are welcome to lead a Life Group Bible
Study. There are 2-3 training sessions a year for those who want to lead and
facilitate a group in their home or at the church. The point of contact is Loretta

Helping Hands Ministry: Since 2005, FWC women participate in a caring ministry of
helping F.W.C. attendees with prepared meals during times of need. The focus of
this ministry is to assist the families where the “family cook” has had a major
surgery, given birth to a child, or a death within the immediate family. There are 19
teams of 2 women each who provide meals once or twice during the calendar year.
It is open to any women who would like to help in this ministry. The contact is Jane

W.S.O. Breakfast: Women are invited to help with setup, food preparation, and
serving at the monthly women’s breakfast. The contact is Gwen West.
Annual Women’s Retreat: Women are welcome to serve on a several teams that
make the logistical plans, and preparations for the yearly women’s retreat in
October. The teams begin meeting in July to make the preparations for the ministry.
There is a worship team, registration team, craft team, and banquet & decorations
team.
Senior Adult Luncheon: Since September 1997, the women of F.W.C. have provided
a hot complimentary meal for the Senior Adults (Prime Timers) on the second
Wednesday of the month. Each woman on the team brings a side dish to serve the
40-50 senior adults. Once a year, a woman has the opportunity to choose the menu
and prepares the main dish for the senior adults. It is a time of service, friendship,

Prime Timer’s Brunch: Women are welcome to participate in the preparation of a
brunch that follows the monthly senior adult worship service on the last Thursday of

Wednesday night dinners: The W.S.O. women help prepare a meal monthly for the
attendees of the Wednesday night Life Group Bible studies. The dinner is a service
that helps families who want to attend the Bible studies be able to get a hot meal
and then attend classes. There is a minimal donation for the meal. The contact for
