HOME / MINISTRIES / STUDENTS

Welcome to 186k!  186k is Family Worship Center's Student Ministry.  186k stands for the speed of light.  god shines His light into our hearts and then calls us to be light to a dark world.  Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."  We seek to come alongside of parents to lead students to be "life-long followers of Jesus Christ" by focusing on disciplining students to follow God's Word.

Sunday Morning Kafe

186k Leadership Team is adults who strive to be an example to the students with God’s light shining through them as they come alongside parents to lead students to be “life-long followers of Jesus Christ” by focusing on discipling students through God’s Word into a “Crazy Love” with Jesus Christ!

Youth/ Student Pastor

Tim & Priscilla Ives to be the new Youth/Student Pastors in January 2010.  Tim was born in Bremerton, WA  & moved to San Diego, CA when he  was three. The family moved to Pueblo when Tim  was ten. Tim grew up in a Christian home but didn’t surrender his life to the Lord until age 19 while attending Trinidad State College.  While at Trinidad, he felt the call to go to Bible College & decided to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA. Pricilla was born & raised in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. At age 17, she was led to the Lord by her father & soon began to serve in the children’s ministry.  She felt led to go to Bible College & was at Calvary Chapel within the year.  It was there that she met Tim.  Tim & Priscilla have a passion for being used to glorify God & more specifically for discipleship.  Their long-term heart for the future is to someday move to Mexico & be full time missionaries.  Presently, they are focused on what the Lord has before them in Pueblo & are excited to reach out & disciple students of Pueblo, CO.
