SALT is an Adult Singles Ministry. 

SALT stands for Singles Anointed to Live the Truth.

We are dedicated to providing an environment where single adults can come to build authentic friendships with other Christians who share their faith and values.  We are actively working to build a single community at FWC that is both wholesome and contagious.

SALT is Family Friendly: our functions are good for the whole family.  Our monthly main event The SALT Gathering provides childcare.  Serveral of SALT's small groups meet at the church, where childcare is provided.  We have some gatherings that do not have dedicated childcare but invite you to attend and bring your children with you.  We do have a few events tagged "adults only" like our annual Valentine's and Christmas banquets.

 

SALT has an active calendar.  We invite you to attend any of our functions.

Our main event:  The SALT Gathering.

The SALT Gathering is held monthly at FWC on the 4th Sunday of the month.  This is the time SALT gathers to worship, pray for each other, share the Word of God, and break bread with a potluck.  More specific information about these Gatherings can be found on the churches on-line calendar. 

Other things to do:  We have opportunities to gather almost every weekend.  They are diverse and intended to provide entertainment and social connection.  There are also several activities that happen thoughout the year.  In 2011 we had an exciting year of: camping, train rides, SALT gatherings in the mountains and the list goes on-and-on.  Upcoming 2012 activities can be found on the on-line calendar.  Stay tuned and get ready for another exciting summer with SALT.
